The winners of the 2024 Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards were announced on 18 September, including the prestigious ‘Best Equity Release Provider’ award won by Legal & General.

Held at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London, these were the latest annual awards from the leading monthly magazine for the life and pensions industry. Read by UK financial advisers, intermediaries and providers, the magazine covers the latest news on equity release, pensions, investments and insurance.

Best Equity Release Provider

The companies who came out tops in the Best Equity Release Provider award for 2024 were: 

Winner – Legal & General equity release

Highly commended – more2life equity release

Commended – Pure Retirement equity release

It was a matter of musical chairs for the three top spots. In the 2023 Awards, more2life were winners, L&G took ‘highly commended’ and Pure Retirement were ‘commended’.

Best Equity Release Service

The awards also featured a category for Best Equity Release Service, and the top companies were:

Winner – Pure Retirement equity release

Highly commended – more2life equity release

Commended – Standard Life equity release

Pure Retirement retained their top spot from last year, while more2life went one better from ‘commended’ to ‘highly commended’. Standard Life made a new appearance in this category this year.
