Aviva and More2Life feature in ‘best provider’ nominations

The finalists for this year’s leading awards in the equity release sector have been announced, ahead of the awards ceremony on 30 January.
This will be the first year that the awards are branded as the ‘British Later Life Lending Awards’. It’s a change from the previous ‘Equity Release Awards’. The organisers Mortgage Solutions say that this reflects development in the sector, where equity release sits alongside other forms of lending aimed at people at or approaching retirement age.
The awards include 13 categories, with the provider category finalists as follows:
Best Lifetime Mortgage Provider – Aviva, More2life and Standard Life Home Finance.
Best Retirement Interest Only (RIO) or Retirement Mortgage Provider – Family Building Society, Hodge and LiveMore Mortgages.
Best Provider for Adviser Support, Training and Development – Aviva, Legal & General Home Finance and Pure Retirement.
Writing on LinkedIn, Kay Westgarth (Head of Retirement Distribution and Aviva) says:
“Congratulations to all those shortlisted for Mortgage Solutions British Later Life Lending Awards. Huge thank you from me and the team to all those who have supported Aviva to get to this milestone for 3 categories. Good luck all and look forward to seeing everyone at the event.”
